All-Japan Intercollegiate Winter Tournament will start on the 22rd of March in Tokyo (Cycling takes place in the outskirts of the city) for all sports.
Qualified teams (see below) and their cheering squad will leave at 9am on Monday 21st March from Toyama on a 5-hour journey to Tokyo. They will have lunch on the way and then head to their hotels. Indoor sport teams (Basketball, Volleyball & Swim) will be staying at the same hotel close to the sport arena. Outdoor sport teams (Baseball, Tennis & Cycling) will be staying close to the sport centre.
Once the team is eliminated, the buses will head back, however, those wanting to stay are allowed to and they do not need to return with their schools. Expenses, should they choose to stay, will be covered by the individuals themselves. All expenses during the tournament are covered by their universities.
After the Chubu tournament, we realised that it is difficult to talk about NPC teams when we don't have their names, for that reason, we have now added real universities that tend to compete in All-Japan tournaments. There isn't much information about all sports (Intercollegiate Basketball is the largest and most popular amateur tournament in Japan, so finding information about them was easy. I found some information about Baseball and Tennis as well) so we used well-know universities or those of different regions in Japan. This will give a more realistic feel. Those will be used for future tournaments as well.
IF ANY OF THE FINALISTS (BEST 3) FROM INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENTS WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AN NATIONAL INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT, PLEASE LEAVE LET US KNOW.
Any questions, please ask below.
